Celebrating straight A's is of course a must but what about the student who for one reason or another has a D and through hard work and perseverance is able to bring that up to a B. In the BUGS (Bringing Up Grades) program that is what we are all about!

     Each quarter, or semester the teachers choose which student has improved the most either academically or behaviorally. 

 

     North Gwinnett Kiwanis gets the opportunity to partner with local community service workers such as the fire and police departments and show our appreciation for the students' hard work. The children are rewarded with a certificate and a special program such as checking out the firetrucks or learning about the K-9 dogs. At the end of the year we celebrate BIG with Kona Ice!
